From reading the reviews anyone would think this is a 5 star hotel. It clearly is not. I would say 4 stars at best. Room we were given stank of smoke, we did ask to change the room, they stated they were looking into it, and then nothing ever happened.
Indoor pool was not working. Rooftop pool is only for adults. The ground floor outdoor pool was open, but not heated, so was freezing even in may. No one in the hotel ever used the ground floor pool. A complete waste, really of having a pool.
Hotel from the pictures looks really big... But it's actually not a big hotel.
Some staff were really good, others you could see did not really care. Yiget from the conceriege team was always helpful and some amazing local knowledge of places to go shop and eat.
The location of the hotel is good, but on the Asia side it's far from everything. So you will need to use a lot of taxis to get around. Also hotel is close to fernabache stadium, so there is always traffic in that region.
Breakfasts were good
Overall an OK hotel. I would not stay here again.

The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. The staff at the reception and housekeeping was very friendly. I need to mention the lady at the restaurant downstairs who was very professional. She knew what she was doing. Great food. Location is alright, as its a bit away from the city, suitable if you prefer peace and quiet.

We loved Istanbul.
We have been here about 10 years ago.
We loved Istanbul.
We have been here about 10 years ago. Lots have changed - new airport and many developments.
3 of us each bought a beautiful jacket from a local shop. I also bought a carpet and was able to take it along in my luggage.
We would love to visit again and see more of the country side and other cities.

If going to istanbul to see the history of the city,...
If going to istanbul to see the history of the city, everything is in the Europe part of Istanbul. So do not stay in the Asia part.
Taxi drivers don't like going from Asia to Europe for some reason.
Prices for things vary, so you must always bargain for things, even taxi trips.
In the Europe part, food etc is more expensive than places like London. So be careful.

Crazy busy, hordes of tourists, petrified traffic in the downtown area at busy times (but the tram is great and easy to use), very long transport in from the airport - but some lovely spots off the tourist track, lots of history to discover. If you are planning to visit major sites (eg Aya Sofia) be ready for a very long lineup. Enjoyed the archeology museum. Used the booking.com airport transport and it was excellent.

Istanbul is a wonderful city. There is so much to see and do. In each direction you travel there is beauty to experience.
If you’re visiting Istanbul plan on at least a full week to explore.
Visit: the old city, the Asian side with its cute neighborhoods and delicious food options.
A must is to ride the Bosphorus whether by private yacht or ferry it cannot be missed.

Every human smokes here so beware if you are sensitive.
Every human smokes here so beware if you are sensitive. I mean it, you cannot walk down the street with us smelling cigarette smoke. the buses are always late so please don’t be in a rush. The food was amazing and the location of my hotel was super central to all the bus lines. I went to the john reed daily which was one of the best gyms of the brand however, the long bus waits from 12noon to 9pm really tired me out during the last week I was there. I was here for 20 days 8 days would have been enough but the prices are low compared to most countries and the food was yummyyyy.

Istanbul is steeped in history and there is no shortage of sites to visit. Transport is easy, either by taxi or metro. However, the traffic and the driving leaves a bit to be desired 🙂. Good quality restaurants abound and there are plenty of good shopping areas - Zorlu Centre being my favourite. The people are friendly and helpful, and of course, so are the cats!
Great hotel, located within 10seconds walk of Taksim square and Istiklal street, where you will find all the cafes, restaurants, shops etc.The hotel is nicely furnished and the staff are amazing.Very good breakfast on rooftop restaurant. Although all the main sites are not close they are easily within walking distance . we never used a bus or tram or taxi to get around. Best to stay in this area and visit Sultanahmet( the historical area) during the day. Will definitely stay here again when in Istanbul again
The location is best. Walking distance to isktaklal street, taksim square, galata tower, bus station and taxi stand is very near. Most ideal location to stay for tourist. Room was small but clean and fine for a couple. The guy on reception, Tainur was very friendly, cooperative, nice and knows perfect english. Not just help in hotel related stuff but also helped in every aspect such as day tours, taxi, restaurant recommendations & istanbul travel tips. Goes extra mile to fulfill customer needs.
First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, it is close to Taksim Square, from which public transport runs in any direction, including buses from both Gokcen and Istanbul airports. The room is quite big and clean. The only inconvenience was that we didn't have a closet. the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Thank them for that. The street where the hotel is located is full of very good cafes with live music until the morning, so we didn't have to look far for entertainment.
Excellent service! The hotel staff was always pleasant and willing to help. And a special thanks for an upgrade and other complimentary things. The coffee in lobby is amazing by the way:)
Room was clean and big.
I was surprised that vale parking was free! In 5 star hotels it is usually, but for Istanbul it’s not always like this))
Just a perfect impression, I will highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for the hotel in asian side. Location is perfect for Sabiha airport
The hotel is located in the best location in Taksim, near Taksim Square and one block from Istiklal Cd, which is one of the streets with the largest commerce in the place. The staff is always very willing to meet our needs at all times. I highlight Hasan since he helped us with solving doubts, he helped us with the laundry service and also with the transfer service to the airport.
in summary, a great hotel,
great location nice size room close to everything. we hopped off the bus from Istanbul airport spent one night here and
caught bus to the Asian side Airport which is a 5 min walk away(both busses stop at the same spot). the hotel is in a quite area and Taksim square is just around the corner, great spot to do some exploring. the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating like most hosts in Turkiye
The Guest Relation Ms (Guzel) Very kind and Generous
She help me and my friend to make our stay comfortable and memorized
Elite World Hotel Istanbul is an excelant high class hotel
With all facilities
I recommend it for every one want to travel to istanbul and specially 2 minutes close to Taksim square an Istiklal Street
Without the noise of The crowd
And with Very nice City View
A real 5 star experience. All the staff went above and beyond to make the stay feel extra special and cater to your needs. It's really lovely to see how much they enjoy running a hotel and meeting the guests. Top quality breakfast with little changes every day. The views from the terrace room are phenomenal: one of the best views you'll get anywhere in Istanbul.
Location excellent especially when walking what is the best option to see old town.Terrible traffic in town(from Sabiha G. airport to Aya Sophia-90 minutes drive)
Nothing in Istanbul is expensive, all prices are affordable. It is the cheapest city I ever been.
Breakfast is ok served on top hotels restaurant with fantastic view to Aya Sophia and Bosphor .
The hotel and the rooms were so clean , the staff were very friendly and helpful they even gave us an extra hour after the check out , I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone I know it’s one of the best hotels I stayed in Istanbul even tho it’s not 5 stars better then some 5 stars I have stayed in here.
the hotel is in the best location of Taksim square, the room is great, the owners are very nice people willing to help you in everything.
there is a washing machine to wash clothes.
breakfast amazing.
I will definitely go again on my next trip to Istanbul.
thank you very much for everything 🙏
Location is great. It's easy to get there by bus or Metro from New airport and from SAW airport as well. Taksim square is in 2 minutes from Hotel.
Istiklal street is nearby.
Staff is friendly.
Good hotel to stay 1-2 days there, espacialy during transit in Istanbul.
Room is a little bit small (economy room) but the staff and service it was amazing, and the location of the hotel is near by Taksim square (2 minutes walk).
Overall nice experience, when I come back to Istanbul I will book same hotel 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I like location of the hotel there’s located in Taksim square and easy to go everywhere beside their staff is so helpful and so kind. I’m mostly stay in this hotel when I visited Istanbul. AsI mention before the location is perfect !
Clean room, great location - 5 minutes walk to Taksim Square and the metro. If I return to Istanbul I
will choose the hotel again - the staff are very careful and polite, my score is 10 for this apartment hotel
The hotel is located directly to taksim Square which made it easy for me to move from and within.the metro was so approach to visit various and almost all the beautiful and historical places in Istanbul.
The location is excellent, being close to Taksim Square, and the hotel itself is stunning. However, the rooms are small for accommodation, which is typical of many hotels in Istanbul.
I only like the location which is main tourist attractions in Istanbul, which is Taksim square, nothing more expect from this hotel whole stay in this hotel.
